Cuuute S'more! I want to learn to do Amigurumi just to do an SPN set - I own an Ichigo and Renji from Bleach that I bought at a convention and I ADORE them ... one of my teachers knows how to do it, I may eventually decide to bug her about it. :)

I do amigurumis off of patterns I find. For my b-day a couple years back, someone gave me a copy of Creepy Cute Crochet, so I had to teach myself how to crochet in order to make them.

To date, I have made a reaper, a Nosferatu, and a corporate zombie.

But you can find all sorts of amigurumi patterns on-line (some of my favorite are for Star Wars characters). Just do a Google search, and you'll find more than you ever really wanted to.

I have an idea of how I want to make a Sammy-gurumi and an Ami-Dean-rumi. I just haven't gotten around to working out the specifics.

CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!! <3_<3

I can imagine Sam would be really tough since he almost always wears plaid. The ones I've seen of them are ok, but nowhere near as cute as my Shinigamis. :)

That shawl is lovely!

The garland is surprisingly effective.

Thank you! Iirc, the afghan pattern (it does look like a shawl the way I folded it, yes) was called a "beachcomber afghan." The blues and greens are supposed to be reminiscent of the ocean and beach glass. I like the color combination a lot.

I am especially tickled with the garland. It is really effective, very easy, and now that I have the basics down, I might try making different sized kernels or try a cream or variegated white/cream.
