Because girlyghoul70 asked for an explanation, here are the thoughts behind my list of inspirations and elements.

Sort of... I can wrap my brain around the Mama's Family essence of the skit, though I'm still left pondering what this Jared gesture or Zumba dance step might have looked like.

Perhaps an encore performance for the fam during a Thanksgiving get together is in order :-)!!

The zumba step might have to wait until it's just you and me. Picture a child (a 40-something year old child) straddling an imaginary horse and "galloping."

Which gesture of JP's did you modify to use? Was it the enormous wingspan one? I love the wingspan one! Was it the jaw thrust? The head-tilt "I'm cracking my own spine, I'm so annoyed" one? The quick nod, blink, and look away? Something else?

Something else. It wasn't something he uses as "Sam," but one that Jared used during a con that was just so him, and it cracked me up. Let me see if I can find the clip . . .

Okay, here it is. Go to the section that runs starting at 4:50. When Jared points to his brain at 6:12, that's what I used, only two-handed. I had a line something about donating my brain to science. Jared's "he thinks he did *pointpointpoint*" came to mind, so I modified it (used both hands) and used it. :-)

Ahhh, good useage! That may be my favorite clip of that con, just to watch each of them slip momentarily into character and then out again.

I also love Jensen's confusion, and then ending up asking the same question that the asker poses.

They make me laugh. :-D
