Thank you, Ruth. *hugs* I appreciate the offer so much. I think I'm still in too much shock to efficiently process. And my parents are here.

But I sooo appreciate the offer.

Thank you.

The flashbacks killed me ded. Just DED!

Dean. Sam. Oh, boys.

Not sure how I feel about Chuck being God, but I can deal.

The scene of Dean sitting there with everyone he loves dead and gone. Just DED.

They can go a lot of places from here.

Chuck as God . . . the more I think about it, the more it irks me. It was meta on Kripke as god of the SPN 'verse, and it just seemed . . . I don't know . . . heavy handed disguised as clever. Or something. Meh.

The scene of Dean sitting there with everyone he loves dead and gone.

Oh my word. There was a brief moment where I expected Bobby to come over and comfort him, and then realized, Bobby was dead. Everyone was dead. Everyone that Dean cared about was dead. He was alone. He'd go to Lisa if for no other reason than she's the only person left to whom he has any sort of connection.

I just . . . *still processing*

I really need to watch it again. And again. I watched on my nieces' small TV in her bedroom. I need to see the shiny in high def.

It had some truly amazing moments. All the Impala stuff, the montages, and of course the brother moments. I suppose Sam didn't save the Dean's necklace. Seems he would have given it to him.

Again and again. Oh, boys.

Oh, there absolutely were some great, great moments. All the Impala stuff. All the growing up stuff. Dean at the end telling Sammy that he was still there.

Geo hasn't seen it yet, so we'll be watching it again, definitely.

But . . . I think I'm going to have to take a breather before I start re-watching the series this summer. This ending is going to re-write the way I watch the beginning.

It really does feel like an ending. I just . . . I'm spent. And yeah, I did go to my room and shed a few tears.

I'm wondering if he would have actually kept Sam in the pit if this was to end. You could have ended it just as he did and it would have been good. Left us all to decide how we wanted it to continue.

Did they get back to together at some point.. or did they live their "normal" lives.

There are a couple ways he could end it.

1) As he did.
2) Dean as Michael and both boys throwing themselves into the pit.

As it is, it could they could leave it there, with Dean in a normal life and Sam watching over him, the way Dean always watched over Sam.

But I'm glad we get another season, because permanent separation hurts so. freakin'. much.

Wait...Chuck was God? I so failed to get that. Ha. That's...very silly.

I was underwhelmed with all parts of this episode that were not about the boys acting like for-realz grown-ups or how awesome the Impala is. But oh well.

I'll try to call you tomorrow and we can chat, yes?

If I am around, I'd love to chat. I have to work today (we're having an open house at the theater), and my folks are visiting, but I could probably chat for about 15 minutes if we can hook up.

Yes, general consensus is that Chuck was God. The last scene, when he's finishing up the story, he's well cleaned up, dressed in a white shirt, he sums up Sam and Dean's struggle, and he disappears.

I've seen it. Will call you now, see if you're off work.

Also, if you haven't been over there, I recommend tahirire's 10 things about the finale post, because she answered a couple of questions I didn't even realize I had (including a better take on the Chuck thing, which was perhaps the one thing that twitched me; and a take on whether this is really how Kripke would have ended the show, one which makes way more sense and you will...hmmm. Not "like" but certainly feel better about, I think).
