Title: A Watcher’s Duty
Length: 100
Rating: G
Disclaimer: Don’t own a thing, but Joss did say we could play.

All he had left was his duty.

So Giles did exactly that. The obligatory call to Council HQ, his last journal entry detailing the death of his Slayer, visits to various vendors for funeral arrangements on the down-low. She had died a hero, yet must remain unmourned by the world at large; deprived even of a warrior’s burial in the sun, but to be sneaked into the ground like a criminal. That seemed the worst injustice of it all.

He reached for his glass of Glenfiddich, and directed his blank stare out the window.

What does the Slayerless Watcher watch?
