I really like that you showed Willow's core here - the girl who just wants everything to be okay. I was very touched. And if you weren't feeling it... well, I was. Does that help?

Whew! I'm really relieved you liked it! I was a bit nervous how you'd react to this chapter, since it doesn't put Willow in the best light. It's in Anya's POV, and Anya and Willow have always had this tension between them. And content-wise, it's all about defending the decision to resurrect Buffy, which some may say is indefensible.

Thanks, Gabrielle!

Believe me, I understand, though I do get why you were worried I might not. People don't always understand that when writing from the point of view of one particular character, another character (who might be their favorite) won't always be depicted in the most favorable light. It's not bashing - it's point of view.

It's awesome that you "get" it! :)

Thanks!

I struggled with this chapter because I could easily see (so easily see) someone object to going along with Willow's plan, but then I'd be in trouble. ;) I needed this chapter to be canon-compliant (things will only start to diverge once Buffy's back and she's come back wrong), so I had to convince myself to convince everyone else. Note to self: writing without total conviction is hard. And when it comes to Willow, there's no harsher critic than Anya.

Ah, Willow, Willow. Nicely presented scene from Anya's very special pov. Interesting to see her go along when emotions got involved. :)

Thanks! It's very difficult for Anya to not sympathize with a woman seeking vengeance. :)

I completely get that. I just don't know that anyone has stressed or even mentioned it before, and given that Anya would have known better than to try to resurrect someone, it's important that we know what would have convinced her to help. So kudos to you!

Yeah, I thought Anya would be the harshest critic of Willow's idea. Means a lot to me that you approve. Thanks, Slay!

You captured all of them so well. And Willow from Anya's POV work's so well, ging the maximum insight into both characters.

And this exchange...
“Wait.” Xander’s brow creased. “Did you say ‘real dumb’?”
“I said ‘I love you!’” answered Anya sweetly.
That's soooooo Anya and Xander =)
