Wow I don't ever remember seeing a post from you! But what a first post it is!
Ich musste mein Woerterbuch viel benutzen, zu die Gesichite lesen, aber ich liebte sie! Mehr, bitte!
Ok I confess I don't think I am translating the last sentence correctly. Is it something like "Who of both of us absolutely wanted to go to Berlin...at that time, before two years?"

Yes, you're right. This refers to a certain incident at the end of World Cup 2006, which was documented so nicely in the movie "Deutschland - ein Sommermärchen":
at the end of the tournament, the German team was discussing where to celebrate the official farewell party. As their last game took place in Stuttgart, Michael Ballack and some others wanted to end it all in Stuttgart, right after the game vs. Portugal, while Torsten Frings was part of a group that wanted to bid farewell to the fans in Berlin where the team had stayed all weeks long.
Micha got really bitchy when he heard that Torsten didn't support him and for a little moment, they argued like an old married couple. ("5 minutes ago, you've told me just the other way round ...")
In the end, they came back to Berlin where they were greeted by about half a million fans. (and Feli was one of them. Thanks, Torsten !)

Ah that makes a lot more sense now! The backstory fills in the holes that my horrible grammar creates.
And please tell me that you're just now waking up and not STILL awake ;)
