Bloomsday '14

Happy Bloomsday 2014! I wrote the below to j_joyce. As you can see, it's an attempt to write in Joyce's style. Unfortunately I am no James Joyce, but it was good fun writing it. Well...there's a bit of the opening and good ol' Molly at the end..but the nested parenthesis...can't think of an instance, but I haven't close read the book in decades.

When are you back in Town and when are we going to do coffee and talk or some such?

And, given my Irish heritage, it is usual to find out to what degree we are related, if at all.

I'm not sure about nested parentheses in Ulysses, but there're certainly plenty of them in Finnegans Wake. But admittedly I wasn't particularly emulating Joyce in that, except insofar as complicated sentences are part of his style.
