Well, it's been 3 days since the end of January, and 3 days since Sonja and Meike left for Germany. I went to see them off at the airport on Tuesday along with about 7 others. Woah, your parents are going to the world cup?! That's amazing. Um, as for money, I'll aim to save up about $3200. That will give me about A$800 spending money. I know it's not much, but it's probably the greatest possible amount I could hope to save in that time. A second trip to Germany at the end of the year, eh? Well, that sounds pretty good. If I can save up enough money to go again at the end of the year, I definitely will. Who else is going with you?

Ah crap, that's not a good sign if their tickets were rejected. I haven't applied for mine yet, and have to wait for the next round of ticket offers. But hopefully there will still be tickets left for the games we want to go to, because they're 2nd & 3rd round games, and no one knows who will be playing in them yet.

$3200 - $2100 (airfare)- $320 (World Cup Tickets)
= $800ish

I'll try and come along with you at the end of the year aswell then. It'll just take me a while to save up again.
