Why has no one created a genuine Magical Boy(-girl) show? Nothing would amuse me more than watching the transformation/attack sequences for that.

The Dragon Ball series does not count, since there are no sparkles or bubbly flowery zoomy backgrounds

Closest thing I can think of is DNAngel... was pretty sure you've seen that already though. I'm blanking on anything else...

I haven't, though I have a friend who is in love with a character from the series. I think his name is Dark?
