Kingsman: The Golden Circle Trailer

20th Century Fox finally released a full trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle. However, I feel too many unnecessary teasers kill all the fun. In 11 hours, it generated about 3.2M views, not an impressive number. I think it will do much better if they didn't release the two previous teasers. Also the creator of the Kingsman comics announced that

Good observation about the belligerant first encounter between Tatum and Strong in both films.

Right now, Channing's role looks more like a glorified cameo. I hope there is more.
It all looks colourful and entertaining, but for some reasons, I never really liked this series and something about the main character rubs me the wrong way. The gadgets and misogyny I accept from James Bond somehow annoy me a bit coming from this young man. Mind you, I don't hate the movie either.
I will watch it for Channing and Colin Firth, and because it is a lighthearted action film.

Channing has at least one major scene, in which he wears the Kingsman suit. Also I feel his character may have a twist. I am sure he will shine in this movie like he did in Hail Caesar

Ah, good to know! I'm happy he has several scenes to shine in. Yes, he was remarkable in HC. In H8 too, even if it was shorter.

And, yes, that's the scene. Strange, I'm usually not shocked by sexuality when it is consensual, and yet there was something obnoxious ans mean spirited about this. Or maybe I'm being ageist about the hero? Somehow, it seems to me he hasn't earned it. Yes, the James Bond figure should get to score, but you don't expect him to go around bribing a pretty hostage liberation against some sex. It annoyed me and made me dislike the character, even if the princess seems to be into it.
Maybe some teenage boys identify to him? He is not exactly handsome or that clever but he gets to win over everybody and the elite girl lets him treat her like dirt.

Anyway, I will still watch the film.
