To me, he does not seem to like to work that much, therefore we have not been able to see him a lot on big or small screens in recent years. I wish this show will do well, but will he take more work?
I think he wanted to get away from King Arthur so badly that he was willing to wait for the right part. Now that he's had a few tv show appearances under his belt, I think his work will probably pick up. He was wonderful in iZombie and he's doing a movie, I think, next - although nothing to write home about. I honestly think he'd be better off in the UK. He'd get steady work.
I still think the main reason is he is not a hard worker. There is nothing wrong with it if he likes it. I know his doing Underworld 5, but that is an over-milked cow, a dying franchise.
He will probably get more opportunities in TV land. I still think there are more opportunities in the US. I personally like to see more of him in American TV productions simply because I generally don't like UK TV shows that much.

I kind of agree, he has not been working much. Will he doe other projects? I hope so, I loved him in Merlin even if the show went off the rails.
