This is a good interview.

I'll wager the people who turned him down for John Carter are regretting it now. Then again, it was probably a blessing that he was turned down.

The NYTimes really liked 21 Jump Street as well as most other critics. Good for him!

Yes, a good interview. I like that he gave his father an iPhone, so he could record stories for him. I guess someday Chan will make a movie about it.

I really hope he becomes very successful, he is a nice guy and he does work hard. I like that he is not pretentious.

If he keeps doing what he is doing right now, I think he will be fine. And I just noticed one thing. The writer of this article is pretty good, but he got one fact wrong. He wrote "Dear John, last year's Valentine's Day Channing Tatum vehicle..." But in fact, last year around Valentine's Day, Channing was in The Eagle. They really should market that movie towards women. If they add a Marcus/Esca kissing scene or even a hug, the movie will sell better lol

Thanks for putting this up! That was a really interesting interview. As always, he seems super nice.

Also, I am inordinately pleased that he loves Chris Pine :DDD

Well, and all other names he mentioned. It's very interesting that he talked about the two leading men of Warrior - Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton. Sony has signed Gavin O'Connor (the director of Warrior) to direct Channing's Peter Pan project.

Haha of course! I adore Chris Pine though, so I was particularly thrilled to see his name mentioned.

What is this Peter Pan project of which you speak???

It's a Peter Pan prequel, in which Peter and Hook are brothers. Channing sold this project to SONY one year ago. Since The Vow and 21 Jump Street has brought SONY a lot of money, SONY just greenlighted his Peter Pan project. The temporary title is "Neverland". It seems Channing will only produce the movie, but will not take a starring role.

Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, I wonder if he went to see This Means War ;p I wouldn't spend money on that movie.

I wish Channing would give Chris some career advice. I did unfortunately spend money on This Means War and he plays the same charming douche as Captain Kirk was but this time I was unimpressed because I had already seen him do that in Star Trek. Plus he was less charming in this one.

Chris Pine doesn't work as much as Channing does. I don't know it's by choice or if there are other reasons.
