You know, I am so happy that he is becoming so successful. I hope he maintains his good down to earth nature through all this-he does seem like such a nice guy and he and his wife seem solid, I wish him good luck and success.
I will always love him best as Marcus, though...:)

I hope so. It seems he is surrounded by loving people who keep him grounded. It's nice he has become a bankable star, just hope he can do better films in the future.

in the cold cold Scottish river lol
He is best at playing wounded (physically and emotionally)
One layer of clothing a time ;p I'm kidding. I think he is careful with choosing roles. All of his movies come out this year are different.
> Better films have to be earned, it seems.
Agree. First one has to become a bankable star, then the studio executives are willing to take a risk with one.
But there is another route. Some star won the hearts of the critics first. Then Hollywood will cast them in commercial films. If one is good-looking enough and has a likeable quality, one will become a hero (See Andrew Garfield). Otherwise, they just cast one as a villian (See all European actors who play villians with an accent in Hollywood blockbusters). Some will do well, some will fade into the background after a few years.
> I think he will get better films as time goes on.
That's why I am looking forward to Bennett Miller directing him in Foxcatcher.

Better films have to be earned, it seems. And he is willing to go the mile. I think he will get better films as time goes on. He is paying his dues.
