That seems a bit odd. I can't really see Colin saying that the Americans would do it badly. It would piss American producers off and I'm sure he'd like to do some work in the states eventually. Or if taken another way, saying that Shine did it badly. That just doesn't sound right.

No it doesn't. Usually Colin doesn't say things like that, so I couldn't believe it when I read this article.

sorceryphobic dad
this made me laugh so much xD

Or perhaps that should be the start of developments, because we didn't see them together much in series one.
Duh!?

They are pretty defensive about the english production. I think I would be as well if for example they had to portray Rome in America or China or something... it just doesn't fit. But I don't know about actually being bad

I have my problems with THIS British Production. But I didn't expect the actors saying anything else.

My only worry with this is that quite a lot of it seems to be taken out of context - it isn't a continous interview - because I really don't think that Colin would have said something like that without explanation/joke.

He might say it as a joke. But from the texts itself, you cannot tell the context.

>The Americans are planning another retelling of the Camelot legend quite soon

Just for the words literally, whether he mentioned Guy Ritchie's 'reimagined' of Arthurian Legend:http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/its-been-emotional-guinevere-ritchie-to-take-on-camelot-1919455.html
That's the news(not the latest) what I read just now.
Because of Holmes, Ritchie will give us a surpirse, MAYBE.~~XD~

I still think he was talking about the mini-series Camelot which will be aired on Starz next year.
