Personal Thoughts on Merlin Panel (B/C related ONLY)

I just finished reading tenshunts' full transcript of Merlin panel. Here are some of my thoughts (cross-posted at LJ and DW)

I really like Colin's sense of humor. It's pretty obvious that he can be devious at times but seems very sweet, too. Bradley reads more straightforward.

Loved it.

Yes, Colin manages to be devious and polite. Both are very charming young men.

I want to comment on Katie and Colin here. They did three commentaries together. I noticed Colin are very polite with Katie. He said "thank-you" a lot to Katie's comments. It is never the case between Colin & Bradley. Maybe that's because Bradley usually doesn't say good things about Colin in front of him (although we know he is quite fond of Colin. He just never wants to admit it to Colin)

It's my experience that the closer you are to someone the less polite you are in conversation - to the point that insults are disguised compliments.*g* Someone would have to be a very good mate before you could call them 'disturbed'...

That's true. But on the other hand, it's shows that is how Colin was brought up. His parents taught him well. But, I notice in some situaions, people say "thank-you" out of a habit. I dunno, myself may not feel it is necessary to say "thank-you" when my close friends compliment me. Or in this case, when Katie said Colin's answer was boring, we know Kaite was teasing him. Colin didn't have to say "sorry".
