Hah! When my gambling addiction has consequences for people other than myself and contributes to the drop in quality of life for my offspring, maybe puts us in the ghetto, I'll own up to it and then remedy it. Hey I know you've all "Been there n done that", but I have to, you know? I take responsibility for any and all of my actions now that I'm an adult, however I will not call my father a victim nor forgive him for 18 years of bullshit I had to endure. You're in recovery, that makes you a better person, it's been almost 30 years for him and he's NEVER EVEN TRIED. I think I have a little right to be angry or upset with him or even just a little cynical but if all you want to do is apply my feelings for him to your situations then so be it.
