Rafa won the China Open in 2005. Rafa won 11 tournaments, including his first Grand Slam (RG, of course). This is also the year he went from being ranked #56 to #2.

Lovely to see those pics from 5 years ago, thanks. How young he still was then, only 19 years old. And how adorable biting that stuffed panda ! Reaching # 2 must have felt so great for him. Finally closing that gap between him and Roger :)
