The Loan Wolves had a game yesterday to say farewell to stalwart player Jane (JC), who's going to be returning to her native New Zealand soon

That's a shame, they used to be quite nice in the Old Dairy.

It may just have been that she was having an off day, but more than one pub review site picked up on the same vibe.
The manager or whatever was fine - we were in a part that was booked for an evening function, and he apologised about asking us to move and found another long table for us to move to.

I haven't drink there much since the late 90's, so it could have changed radically sice my time.

Shame, have fond memories of that place.

It was still a good pub - wouldn't put me off going back there.
