Determined Chibisopp is now marching to Krile's house. (Though it's your choice whether or not we quicklog this because two of my characters will be doing so).]
QL WATCH OUT HERE COMES DADDYVIMESstonyfacedFebruary 11 2011, 02:28:10 UTC
[Vimes didn't write anything down when Krile noted that Nova was gone. What was the point? No words would make anything better. They both knew this by now.
Instead he squashed down the anger - and what terrible anger it was, knowing that Krile had lost yet another companion, what burning anger came from the idea of this place making her cry again - and made a quick to the Bazaar. Hot cocoa wouldn't do it this time. Instead, he bought her some vegetarian curry and made some sweet, hot, milky tea. Something hot would do her good, he figured. With a piping hot bag of curry held under one arm and a thermos in one hand and her belated birthday present in the other, he raps on the door with his elbow.]
Krile, it's me, [he says through the door.] Let me in.
GOOD THING THERE ARE NO DARK DWARVESbal_daisyFebruary 11 2011, 02:32:57 UTC
[Krile lets go of the cat she's hugging at the moment and runs over to the door, then stops. She's been crying. It's terribly obvious that she's been crying and she knows that she'll just start crying again as soon as she opens the door and sees him. It's hard enough keeping it under control when she's her proper age. At five, it's impossible.
But she opens the door. There's no way she's going to make herself feel alone just because of some stupid tears and pride. She opens the door and only just manages to keep herself from latching onto his legs, what with his hands being full.]
