Oh, great.
On the other hand it could be a lot worse.
Do you folks at housekeeping have a hose I could borrow?
[This entry is marked with various ink smudges and is not messy, but written in an extremely careful and neat hand with any words that aren't perfectly neat scribbled out.]
[ooc: So the other part of the price tag is that Cara and Helios'

[It's closing time so there's no issue with the weapons stall; she heads home once she's done. And yes, that flock of birds is still there. The roof is perceptibly whiter.]

[Lampwick headed out for Cara's house as soon as he closed his journal and tucked it into his bag. He didn't mind helping Cara in the least, especially since she was a great person in his opinion. He blinked in surprise when he saw her roof.]
...Wow.

...Yeah.
So... can you breathe fire? Or do you think the flame on your tail would be enough to frighten them off? Most animals hate the stuff.

[Lampwick looked thoughtful.]
I think I'll need a way up there, Cara. Any ideas?

[She carefully picks up Lampwick so that his tail is away from her clothing and does what she did her memory: she Jumps. She tries to not go quite as high though, which makes it slightly erratic.
It's too bad she never got to show this to Renae--
--and then she lands, slipping a little on the roof but not falling off. The flock stirs but otherwise keeps on tweeting as Cara finds the cleanest spot she can to set Lampwick down.]
Shoo, you nitbitten featherbrains!

[Lampwich smiled brightly at her before turning to the task at hand. Dropping onto all fours, he began to swing his tail back and forth through the air, creating a light shower of embers near the birds closest to him.
They were nowhere near enough to actually burn anything, but the heat could be felt.]
((ooc: These are your birds, so it's up to you what works or doesn't.))

[She watches as Lampwick starts trying to spook them off with his tail, and joins in too, moving in and clapping her hands loudly. But all the birds do is stir, fly away a little, and then land again. Not even the flames are fazing them.]
Great... I think this might just be part of what happened from the memory crystal. Normal birds would have been long gone by now.

What do you mean?

Well, I got a cloud over my head raining candy and it dropped a memory crystal on my head after a few hours. I thought that was it. But these birds just aren't budging when there's every reason too...
...for that matter, they're not giant like the rest of the birds around here either.

[Lampwick tried breathing fire above the birds. He actually wouldn't wish being drenched on much of anything.]

[Sighs--the fire makes the birds stir and tweet a bit, but other than that they stay put. She gives him a resigned smile.]
I don't want to wear out your firebreathing--thanks for the help anyhow.

[Lampwick shrugs, poking the bird closest to him.]
Think maybe they can't fly much or something?

[Shakes her head and makes her way back to the edge of the roof.]
I guess I'll just have to wait for them to go away and hose it down.

[Although he really would help her, Lampwick was seriously hoping she would decline. Moving to the edge of the roof, he hopped down. The problem was always going up not down for him.]

[She smiles, and hops down off the roof too.]

So what do you want to do for now?
