I know what you mean about Patricia Wentworth. I just had to check my catalogue to see if I had Spotlight! I do but can't remember anything about it. I see it had the alternative title Wicked Uncle.

I think Wicked Uncle is a much better title! Spotlight is a little too tangenital, although it referes to something that happens during the first murder and, if you like, one of the characters, but it gives the wrong impression of the book.
