I didn't come across these books until adulthood. The fact that Hodder had done all these pretty reprints have made them much more visible and available, first hand and second hand, in the UK. They're certainly worth reading if you like mid-twentieth century murder mysteries with a streak of romance. Or rather, it's worthe sampling the series. I think that I've reached the point where I'm overfamiliar with Wentworth's habits.

I liked Miss Jacobson's Journey, too. The next two books in the trilogy I found less good.
