There's a blast from the past; it's years since I read a Torridons book. Although I didn't keep any of the copies I had, I agree that they're worth reading. Not very popular or collectable, I don't know why. Too realistic?

I don't know - I hadn't really come across Muir or her books until this particular find. Did you read her first as a child?

Never mind anyone else, I'm looking foward to reading more by her, especially as she seems to have written a couple of series!

Perhaps this book was maybe too modern if collectors are driven by nostalgia for a world they never experienced, but on the other hand the Scottish setting would seem to be a plus factor.
