Yesterday we travelled about a billion kilometres in one go... taxi to the pier on Ko Samui... ferry to the port at Surat Thani in the mainland... bus across town to the train (stop... internet... food.. beer... keep going) train all the way down to Butterworth (near Penang)... bus all the way inland to the Cameron Highlands... and then back to ( Read more... )

I am definitely not going to eat from a restaurant where the guy out the front with the menus is openly picking his nose.

Yesterday was very exciting, because we came back from a dive to discover we had both clean sheets AND clean clothes.

The joys of backpacking huh?

And in other news, today I saw a WHALE SHARK. Underwater. That was pretty neat.
