And he know, indeed. Not only because of one of this string pointing to Hungary's direction but because an nation was able to feel when another one was near. Prussia knew the palace really well, it was one of his home after all. He knew every room, every statue and every painting, and of course he knew about all the hidden passages

He get inside the kitchen unnoticed, and appeared behind Hungary. Gilbert looked at the girl for some seconds, a soft smile in his face. Then, in a fast movement, he draw his sword.

Of course, the thread suddenly pointing in a different direction gave him away already. She had waited for him to make the first move when she realized he was there, but even hearing him grip his sword made her whirl around, already moving backwards to dodge a possible strike.
And, of course, scanning the surroundings for anything she might use as a weapon.

"I should have expected this, shouldn't I."
But it was not her usual flat tone that greeted such a challenge - in fact she sounded... happy. Or at least genuinely amused.

"You probably did, from all the rooms you picked the kitchen." He replied quickly, grinning just as amused as her. he had the decency to wait until she find something to fight with against him.

"Must've been instinct."

Predictably, she picked up a large cast-iron skillet. Even though admittedly the knives had looked tempting as well- but she needed something she could parry a sword with.

"Ready when you are!"
