today when i was watching armageddon, my dad was reading the daily prophet and he looked at me and said he was not proud of what is happening to the world today. normally i would just ignore him but today i paused

what a nice thing to say! :D
i guess i could be angry too but these days i think it is more important to keep a positive attitude!
like at independence day, the president decided not to leave the white house already because he didn't want everybody to panic even though there was an alien invasion.
that was a pretty bad idea but it was made in ignorance and the sentiment is pretty easy to appreciate!
he was brave for his people and that makes him so awesome.
i want to be like him.
