Gears of War 2 came out today, so I cracked that sucker open. I've been chain gaming, lately. Yesterday I was playing Fable 2, Fallout 3, World of Warcraft, and Little Big Planet, all swapping between the others here and there. And now, I have Gears to add to the mix ( Read more... )

GoW2 is a *huge* improvement on GoW1 -- I was hanging out with the Gears team last year and they did a great job at addressing the flaws from the first game.

This is a crazy-fertile time for gaming... I have so many AAA titles stacked up on my table that it's just crazy, and I won't be able to spend much time playing any of them until my holiday break in December since finishing my own game is consuming all of my time. :P

Mirror's Edge is out soon, too. That's on my list of things to get.

There are so many games that I just skipped Deadspace. I will likely not ever play it, which is unfortunate.

One of my clients at work is actually coming in to see me today... I had a Made-to-Measure suit made for him. He wants to come in for a fitting, and to get my LIVE and PSN usernames :-)

So far, Little Big Planet is worth the PS3. I mean, I am going to be getting a big screen TV later in High Def, and a new sound system, and then I'll have everything I need for the next 5 years as far as my media center.

I could have told you GoW2 would rock, sinply base don the first game. There was no way they weren't going to improve on the gaming experience and the Live capabilities. We shall have to see if we can get you in a game tonight witht he group I was with last night if you answer your phone when I call. :P

This is true, which is why I'm so horrified that I have the nasty taste of Spore still in my mouth. I haven't played that PoS since after I realized there wasn't any more to it than what it was and that never happens.

I only played GoW1 for a little bit (since I have no 360) but yes, it's very cinematic. And yeah you've totally been chain gaming. I was wondering if maybe you found a new boy to date, but it seems you've just been holed away in your lair on a gaming bender. Which is fine, there are a shit ton of good games out right now!

And yeah Cliffy B. is pretty hot.
