Oh no, the car bra! I know how excited you were about it, you had been talking about getting one for months! Ithink your brother can totally pull off the exchange, though.

This has got to be one of the best entries ever. These stories rate up there with The Bees, I think.

AnnaBean! I MISS YOU!

That said: we did pull off the exchange! They didn't give my brother any trouble at ALL. We didn't even need the receipt because they knew who we were. Apparently we LeBra purchasers are few and far between.

I am leaving for vacay tomorrow, but when are you back at your place? We should talk next week, I'm home during the day. Chatting will be easier.

JessBean! I miss you, too! Have a super fun vacation in L.A. I hope it's warm and lovely and that you see many famous dreamy actors. Please call me when you get back. Will probably be in Würzburg till Wednesday, but you can call me here, too.

My big gift from my Dad this year, if it can be called a gift since it was really owed to me anyway, was a car bra (or, to use the manufacturer's term, a "LeBra") to cover up the damage to my front end.

Dude. I have to ask, you KNOW I have to ask. Was this the damage your DAD did to your car when he RAN INTO IT in the driveway?

"The best part is, this was a team effort," I said. "It took two of us to do this."

Both of you deserve some kind of award for that. *g* Teamwork, you know. No one person gets blamed. The blame and (the glory!) gets spread around.

By the way, that's an ingenious way of trying to find a missing receipt. Reenact the whole thing! Brilliant! Or it would've been if the missing receipt had turned up.

Yes! Exactly!

And I was so proud of my receipt strategy - I'm still kind of sad it didn't work. Next time!

Also: I love that icon. I just got the DVDs for Christmas!

Hahaha! You always know to see the bright side of things. Why, yes, your parents can't fault either one of you alone. Both of you should gte credit for your brilliance.
