The interview! It went well, pretty much, though I don't think I'll be the offered the job and I don't think I'd want it even if I were. Though part of me wonders if that's how she lets down everyone she doesn't think is good enough for the job. "You know, not to discourage you from this job, but from the way you just described the past few years you've spent in the New York State prison system on assault charges, addressing and exploring the different layers of your experience -- have you ever considered academia?"

Lesson learned today: I should never drink water while reading one of your LJ entries because I'll laugh and wind up spewing the liquid onto my screen.

You got through the interview and found that the job was not for you so that's good.

Unfortunately, I'm at work. With the door open. So, had to invent a coughing fit. Anyway, must report that on my way to a job interview last month, I also experienced God acting through my radio bringing me calm. Only in my case, it was Blaque's "Bring it all to Me" featuring JC dishing about his baggy jeans, his Timbs, his "thug appeal." Suddenly, a feeling of supreme confidence washed over me and I knew I was gonna kick ass in that interview. And wouldn't you know it, they offered me the job last week. Behold, the power of cheese
