 I seem to have a compulsive need to ruin my character's lives on New Years Eve. If that particular holiday ever comes up in a story, it's like, hey! Have some hell. I seem to think it's a great time to move plot points forward.

Well, my stomach has settled down for the first time in two weeks so I can actually eat something like normal food. Which probably means it wasn't an ulcer.
