Had the CT scans yesterday and they injected me with this weird contrastive dye stuff. It makes you feel pretty awful, however briefly.

Anyways, long story short, my brain and brain-adjacent property is totally fine. No weirdnesses appear anywhere on the scans; no lesions, no tumours, no problems in that area.

I'm glad you're finally getting some answers or are at least ruling things out. Good luck on getting the thyroid issue resolved. A friend of mine takes some medication for low thyroid hormone, and she says it helps a lot.

Did the dye make your mouth taste like metal? I had a test (maybe an MRI?) where I was given something like that and it made me nauseous.

Yep, I had the weird metallic taste thing going on. It's so gross. I wondered at the time if they could make it some other flavour...

Glad to hear there's no tumour, even though they could have dealt with it easily *hug* Fingers crossed that they'll figure out the TSH thing soon as well : )

This is probably going to sound silly, but it's weirdly nice, knowing there are other people who struggle with similar things, and who are hopefully getting things sorted. I really hope you get somewhere with regards to kicking your depression in the pants.
