So, I just started working at the library at school. I'm not totally sure about it yet. The wages are atrocious, I made a full double this wage when I worked at the insurance company. But apparently because it's a student job I don't have to pay taxes.... so... bonus ( Read more... ) -

I went to visit a yarn store. It was not impressive - only one wall with a few different types of yarn on it. :(
On the plus side though, I found a brilliant shop in Galway. thebornstore.com/
I would have bought everything in it if money was no object. As it was, I bought an embroidered scarf and called it a day.

Galway
Well, another rainy day in Galway. It absolutely poured this morning! Apparently there have been flash floods in Dublin. We found enough of a dry spell to have a fourth of July bbq on Saturday. It was pretty tasty good.
Next weekend I have to go to Dublin to look at apartments. I hope I can find a decent place that is near city center and safe ( Read more... ) -

Clearly, We Need To Start More Wars
This is from a review of the book "The Forgotten Man" which apparently alot of Republicans are citing as proof that government spending won't help the recession. Who will ever win this argument... only history can say....er, well maybe history can't say either :P
