If you got a laugh out of it, it served some purpose with its existence. And it was creepy on purpose, since Sues really tend to be creepy with the way they take over the 'world' that they happen to appear in.

Ooh, a good twist on the theme. Gary Stu and Mary Sue are usually annoying enough to kill, but I've never actually seen them as EVIL. Very interesting!

Well, they kind of ran the gamut this time between sweetly innocent and hard core villains. I speak of all the responses to the prompt, of course.

I guess that I've always kind of viewed them as bad in fanfiction, just because of how they tend to warp a story and make it unreadable. Of course, a good author can make them palatable (ala-- mark_asphodel), but on the whole, they really make a mess of things. And with the general disregard for what anyone else might think or want, I'd put even the most sweetly appealing of Sue/Stu down in the category of 'Selfish'.

But I suppose I should not meander down that dark path of contemplation...

Anyway, thanks for the review and sorry that I didn't get back to it sooner. (^_^)b
