Good Food places--

Bakersfield, Cafe Med (I know it is Bakersfield, but it is good)

Denver, burgers, My Brother's Bar
good if not great food, Duo, Z Rotisserie, Vesta Dipping Grill, Jax
tapas, Door Nine or Ninth Door (I am really bad with names), Swimclub 32
rustic, Cafe Brazil (black bean stew to die for), Sabor Latino

Sacramento, Waterboy. Just moved here. I know there are more, but only so much time and money.

Brentwood, CA (north) try Chef Ngyugen's Sutter Brassiere or something close to that

I ate at Eno several times when staying at the InterConti last November. Foodgasmic is almost an understatement for the place. I'm going back in June for a con and going downtown JUST to stop there. If you get back there, try the Baa Baa Blue if you like blue cheeses. Oooh...now I'm drooling on my keyboard.

I did the architecture cruise last year, and also the cruise on the lake on the tall ship on Wed. night when they do fireworks off of Navy Pier. Stunning view, and a fun opportunity to help hoist sails, after which I understood exactly why Popeye's forearms looked like they did.
