I quite agree to the laid-back schedule. And let's just keep the six we have now.

In fact, I thought we were already de facto in the laid-back schedule, and having trouble getting words down. I hadn't realized anyone thought the group was on hiatus.

Maybe the two-week crit schedule should depend on the number of words -- like one week for every 10000 words or something like that. If several people submit 10000 words at the same time, accept there will be extra delay.

:-)

I'm a homosexual. I'm a fan of the hyperbole and a flare for the dramatic.

I will undoubtedly start critiquing people's stuff again. Summer break starts tomorrow, I no longer work in retail hell (that job gave me no time/energy for anything beyond school), and I have four whole months until the next semester. I probably won't post anything of my own and will probably stay an honorary member (or whatever you want to call someone not posting her own work) because I'm largely planning to work on thesis research/writing this summer. I'm also going on a couple vacations and like before I'm not going to make any promises as to how soon I'd critique anyone's work.

My schedule has gotten a lot less flexible post-PhD, so I doubt I'll be posting much work of my own, but I'm happy to continue critiquing. As a heads-up, I'm prepping right now for a big work conference that starts this weekend, so I probably won't be able to look at the latest submission until later this month.
