Since we have been encouraged to leave comments on other people's fics too, I just wanted to say that this was really cute and made me laugh. I especially loved this line: “Xav, babe. I know that you are born and bred cule … but even you have to realize that the broken blinds with Barca crest on them are not really suitable for a thirty year old man.” The opening conversation, with Carles suggesting honey-covered peanuts to Leo's disbelief and the reference to Geri's tweet about Shakira's one-pack, was great too.

And I'm pretty sure that I know who wrote this one ;).

Darling secret santa, thank you so much. I actually read this yesterday morning while I made a cup of tea as effectively my first Christmas present and it made me so happy. Thank you thank you thank you for choosing Xavi/Villa, they are my favourite and so hard to find. And just being established boyfriends <3 <3 <3 at Christmas <3 <3 <3 I really love you for taking my prompt at its word!

And then the fic was just so cute and funny, I laughed at Xavi's totally neurotic worrying and I loved the little dose of wretchedness in there that was tempered by Xavi's realisation that being dumped sucks whatever. I love how domestic David's present is, and I loved the cameos toooo, peanuts oh my goodness <3 and Pique that IS an impossible task!
