I usually don't see the matches to the paintings but there are some lovely flower arrangements.
I see the not matching one is a El Greco. I recognized his style, it's so unique.

My wife likes the painting. Just not the flowers that were put there to match it.

It is very creative. And, it is popular. The museum gets more folks for this event than any other by a wide margin.

Ooo I remember when you posted about this last year! It's so cool. I think my favorite in this batch is the boat dashing against a jetty. In the general decor, I like the ones all around the bust, it makes me think of how maybe this is the first time it's being celebrated in that way (for lack of a better word). Thanks for sharing these!

i always find your pictures of the flower/painting display interesting. as you say, some are quite interesting in how they match. and some are so random you get no sense of similarity.
