Congrats on doing A-Z. Awesomeness. A friend of mine just returned from her honeymoon in NZ. I am eager to go there and based on your thoughts I want to go even more!

I went to London for all of a day. I was in the UK researching a novel and stayed in the countryside which was so nice. The people, the food, and it was quiet. And then returned to London which reminded me of Manhattan with it's way tiny hotel room and expensive prices! In the country I had a huge bathroom. *sigh*

I'd recommend Ghana very friendly to tourists. Food can be questionable. Long story on that one.

NZ is worth the long trip! So gorgeous, and just a nicer pace to life.

Isn't it crazy how quiet the countryside can be merely 2 or so (or less) from metro London?? I drive out two hours here and it can still be noisy in a suburban way.

Oh I'll ask you about Ghana next time we meet then! Africa and South America are huge gaping holes in my travel knowledge.
