Summary : Nino decided he’s going to stay at Kame’s place for 2 more weeks…Kame discussed over a hypothetical question with Ueda… And finally, MATSUKAME scene!!!

A/N : I really do need more happy stuff now… So grateful I have this fic to amuse myself. It’s slightly longer than the other chapter. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did writing it.
Nino was sitting in his own living hall flicking through an old magazine. The person assigned to rebuild his kitchen was making his inspection and estimation at that moment. It is the same person Kame hired for his study room.
Last night was the forth day Nino invaded Kame’s apartment. Both of them came back early and decided to have pasta for dinner. Nino always knew Kame was good at cooking, but he never expected the younger guy was so natural; he really looked as if he belongs there. Nino did try to help but in the end he was ushered out from the kitchen.
Everything felt so comfortable and at ease. They don’t really talked much or do things together. But there is undeniable mutual understanding between them. After almost 5 years in relationship with Masami, Nino didn’t expect he’ll get over her that easily. Sure, he thought of her from time to time, but that’s just about it. And he knew it was all thanks to Kame. His warm presence and subtle gentleness amazed him.
Nino decided he’s going to extend his stay at least another 2 more weeks. It’s a therapy he told himself. As if fate was on his side, he stumbled upon something interesting. He saw the study room blue print and the quotation Kame’s getting for the set up. It was unexpected opportunity and obviously he’s planning to make use of it.
“So what do you think Ryuji-san?” Nino put down the magazine as the contractor cum ID approached him.
“Small matter. This can be fixed in 3 days” he answered confidently.
“Hmm. I’m willing to let you work out on this project, but there is a catch” Nino explained with a devious gleam in his eyes. “I happen to know that you are over charging Kamenashi-kun to the extent of extortion. Well since it’s his first time moving out, I assume he was an easy target. I on the other hand are very well versed on the matter, clearly saw your scheme. And I have no problem letting him know, unless you are willing to attend my request.”
The guy looked baffled and angry. He did thought of storming out of the room but his instinct told him that Nino is not someone he could just brush off easily. “What’s your request then?”
Nino smiled victoriously “You’ll workout my kitchen for free which I believe the cost easily covered by the amount you quoted Kamenashi, but you need to finish it up in 2 weeks time”
“Huh?! I’ve told you just now that I can have it ready in 3 days” the man was confused.
“I heard you. But unless you can drag it to 2 weeks, the deal is off” Nino explained calmly.
The man was totally puzzled by Nino request, but after the request finally sinks in, he smiles knowingly. “I’ll get it ready in 2 weeks time”
Then both of them were interrupted by a faint knock on the door. “Come in!” Nino called.
The door slowly opened and Kame stepped in “Gomene! Am I interrupting?”
“No, no! We finished already” Nino announced and signaled Kame to come in. “Ryuji-san will be working on the repair soon” he announced cheerfully.
“Ahh… that’s great. By the way Ryuji-san, please put the charges on me.” Kame’s statement shocked both Nino and Ryuji.
But as expected from Nino, he recovered soon enough “Nonsense. You will not cover for it”
“But senpai, I caused the mess. It’s the least I can do” Kame explained earnestly which Nino thought was so cute.
“Nope! Ryuji-san gave me such a great price already. It’s almost as if I’m getting it done for free. Please don’t worry about it” Nino approached Kame and patted him on the head.
Ryuji sensed that his presence was interrupting both of them. He informed Nino that he’ll be starting his work in 2 days time and bid his goodbye.
They stayed at the living hall for few more minutes and then Kame held his hand towards Nino, gesturing that he got something in his hand. Then Kame carefully placed a small key onto his palm. “My house’s key. Even thought you’ll be staying for only a short while, it would be easier if you have the key” Kame’s cheek starting to turn red.
Nino was startled but undeniably happy. He took the key with a huge smile plastered on his face. This therapy is working great!!!

“Nino, look at this. Don’t you think it’s great?” Jun was excitedly showing a magazine spread of some summer collection.
Nino gave a peek and nodded. He couldn’t be bother with it but since he was in such a great mood, he played along.
“Ne Nino, are you free this weekend? Let’s go shopping” Jun was trying his luck.
Unfortunately he was not lucky enough “Definitely not. I need to finish up a new game this weekend” well, Nino was in good mood but that doesn’t mean he’s being submissive. Jun replied with unsightly pout.
Then their manager came in “Hey Nino, I heard that Masami and you broke off. Is it true?”
“Yup!” he answered shortly ignoring the stares he’s getting from his group members.
“Ehhhh!” all exclaimed in unison.
“How come you are so cool about it? How come we don’t know?” Sho asked in a grunt.
“No big deal” Nino tried to shrug it off. “Sure, there was a booze night few days ago, but I’m perfectly fine now. Thanks”
“Is that the reason you have been going off a bit early lately?” Aiba asked cautiosly.
“No! I just found a new hobby to keep me entertains. That’s all!” Nino reassured everyone. Knowing that Nino will not reveal anything further, everyone just kept their thoughts to themselves.

“Ueda, can I talk to you for a minute?” Kame suddenly voiced out.
Kame was at the studio, recording Kase by Kase. Ueda and Koki were his guests for the night. They were on break at that moment and Koki had already dashed out for a quick smoke.
“Wow, that tone sound serious” Ueda teased.
Kame was already blushing before he even begun. “It’s a hypothetical question.”
“Sure! Go on!” Ueda encouraged him.
“If under a strange circumstances you are forced to stay with someone you barely knew, will you be annoyed?” Kame looked straight avoiding Ueda stares.
“I’ll definitely be angry and moody” Ueda offered.
“What if you don’t? Does that mean something’s wrong with you?” Kame asked softly.
Ueda studied Kame carefully “It might mean you are attracted to that person. So is he cute?”
Kame nodded instantly before realizing it was a mistake and tried to cover up “I don’t know. It was just a hypothetical question.”
But the harm had been done.

Things just seem to happen to Kame tonight. Ueda had been bugging him for the entire night about the hypothetical question he asked earlier. Koki was being a brat saying he felt left out from the conversation. And now Kame got stranded helplessly on his way back.
Something was wrong with his car. It suddenly slowed down by itself and unexpectedly stopped. Fortunately he managed to maneuver his car to the side. He tried to call someone for help but end up with a flat battery. He was thinking of leaving his car there and took a cab home when a tab was heard on his window. He was startled but the familiar face calmed him down.
He lowered his window and feel relieved instantly “Senpai”
“Kame-chan, what are you doing here all by yourself. You are not attempting suicide right?” Jun asked with a grinned on his face.
Kame laughed and feeling at ease now “Nah. Suicides in cars are so overrated.” Kame stepped out of the car “Something wrong with my car. It gave up on me. Same goes to my phone.”
Jun immediately pulled out his phone and handed it to Kame “Call your mechanic and the tow truck” Jun instructed as he leaned over Kame's car.
Kame immediately did as was told. Then he passed the phone back to Jun “Thanks senpai. You’re a live saver. Not to worry, I’ll wait them here.”
“Don’t be ridiculous. I’ll send you back. Now, let’s wait in my car.” Jun declared and headed to his car leaving Kame dumbfounded for awhile before he followed the older one.
As he stepped into the Jun's car, he noticed the pack of beers at the back seat. "Matsumoto senpai..."
Jun interrupted "Thought we have thrown all this formalities ages ago. Call me Jun please"
"Ahh... Jun senpai, you don't normally used this route right?" Kame asked casually, glancing at Jun.
"Hmm... I'm stalking you, obviously" Jun answered with a flirtatious laughed.
Kame knew this game too well, reciprocated "Really?! Should I be flattered or scared?"
Jun smile grew wider "Depends on how you see it. I could be pretty aggressive once I set my eyes on the prey."
Kame let out a nervous laughed at Jun's statement "I'll take note on that." Then he bravely turned to Jun and asked "Seriously senpai, why are you using this road. Not that I'm not grateful you found me here, I'm just curious."
Jun laughed at Kame's attempt of changing the subject. "I'm heading to Nino's place."
"Ohh. Maybe you should call him and tell him that you'll be late" Kame assumed Nino already waiting for Jun.
"Actually, he doesn't know I'm coming. It’s a surprise" Jun smiled brightly.
Unfortunately Kame did not share the same reaction “Eh! He doesn’t know you are coming? What if he’s not home? What if he’s with his girlfriend or something?” Kame thought of all the possible excuses.
“He just broke up with his girlfriend. That’s why I’m going there to cheer him up. Basically just to get drunk together” Jun explained.
“That is a stronger reason not to have a surprise visit. He might be with some new right now?” Kame lied.
Jun shook his head “Not possible. Nino’s so choosy he won’t simply settle with anyone just to mend his broken heart. Besides, if I call him now, he surely just brushes me off.”
Then when Kame about to protest again, the tow truck arrived. “That was fast” Jun exclaimed as he stepped out from his car followed by Kame.
“Maybe I should follow them to the workshop and took the cab from there” Kame stated of his last option.
“Don’t worry. Your car will be fine” Jun reassured the anxious younger guy for the wrong reason. “By the way, where are you staying?”
Kame stared blankly at Jun hoping something will pop up to salvage the situation. But nothing happened. “Mizue Apartment” Kame answered softly. He’s praying hard that Nino was still out.
Kame answers took Jun by surprise “Eh, that’s Nino apartment!” he exclaimed.
“Yeah. I met him few times.” Kame cautiously chose his words.
“Damn Nino. He never told me that?” Jun replied pouting his lips.
Kame thought Jun looked cute and smile “I just move in last weekend”
Then Jun pulled Kame’s hand, “Than, I’m definitely going to send you now. Let’s get going.” He happily dragged the speechless guy. “I’ll send you off first then I’ll head off to Nino’s.
They arrived shortly. Kame was desperately finding a way out. The elevator opened up and they stepped in. “Ne senpai, I would like to invite you in, but my house still a mess.”
Jun looked at the younger guy curiously and flashed his brightest smile “Its okay, I’ll just send you till your door. I’m your stalker, remember. So what floor?”
Kame felt like running away “8th floor please” he answered almost in whisper.
“Eh… The same floor with Nino?” Jun was startled.
Kame nodded avoiding Jun’s piercing eyes.
Jun eyed Kame suspiciously “You guys are practically neighbors then?”
Again, Kame answered with a nod, not trusting his voice.
After what felt like eternity, the elevator door opened. They stepped out in silence and walked towards Kame house. Jun didn’t even bother to stop by Nino’s house noticing it was dark.
They stood in front of Kame’s house. Kame turned facing Jun “Here we are” Kame stated nervously.
“Why don’t you go in first.” There’s a clear determination flickered in his eyes.
Kame sighed helplessly and placed his key inside. Then when he about to turn it, the door was opened from inside. “Okaeri!” Nino was standing cheerfully at the door.
Kame felt like fainting. He didn’t need to turn to Jun to know the shocked and bewilderment expression he’s having at that moment.
