That's classic Mal ... totally unaware until it hits hm over the head. Glad he didn't go ballistic on Jayne. Guess he figures it was serious if Jayne threw Vera down to help River.

This is SO totally squee-worthy! I love it. It's romantic and cute and you have all of the crew's characterizations spot on. I hope it will just keep rolling along. Badger's reaction, Ma Cobb's reaction, the milkman's reaction, everyones reaction. I also especially loved how you wrote Zoe and Mal. It was perfect.

P.S., your icon for this chapter (cross-eyed Mal) is hilarious.

Such a good chapter. I like how it took Mal awhile to figure it out. And he needed help from Zoe. BTW, your Zoe voice was spot on in this chapter. I love how he found out too, when Jayne flung Very to the ground. And Jayne admitting it. SQUEE! :D
