See how much I love you? I'd never even *heard* of Dr. Who before you decided it was your new fandom and yet here I am, reading this fic. *Enjoying* this fic, even though I haven't anything *resembling* a clue as to what these characters are about. (Though I did read the synopsis you posted earlier; thanks for that, by the way. Not quite as entertaining as your summary of Buffy, but I suppose it's harder to give a real run-through of a show that's been on the air for almost as many *decades* as Buffy was on in years.) Anyway, the story was lovely and painful and brilliant . . . and should you feel like writing a sequel, I could probably bring myself to read it. *wink*

I *know* I've read this before but I've never reviewed it so... You've pointed out the reason GiTP bothered me sooooooooooo much - In SR he says he'll never leave her (and almost says the 'L' word) and in the VERY next episode her leaves her!!! What happened to the whole 'I could save the world but lose you' bit? I know the Doctor couldn't have let Reneitte (sp?) be 'destroyed' by the clock guys and would have always saved her but he left Rose without so much as a heartfelt word (i mean, he didn't even make sure she could get home!). *takes a deep breath* So, again, liked the story. SJ did see 3 regenerate into 4 (I know others have mentioned it but I want to show off my knowledge ;-)

Great fic, very realistic! Love everything about it, especially this line:

Thing is, the old him, the him I knew first . . . he loved me, I knew it.
