burning dvd's?

Ok, I'm up at my mom's house for the holiday weekend, and she has a nifty DVD burner. I can't seem to get this damn thing figured out. There doesn't seem to be any program on the computer that's made to make dvd's as movies, tho you can save data to a dvd pretty easily. I assume I need to download a program specific to doing that kind of movie

I would suggest DVD Shrink, free program, and does a very good job for what you are wanting.
