Originally, I wasn't planning on drawing any more scandinavia for a while, but I got commentary from the resident american-swede (if my memory does not fail me--!?) on dear ol' flist on my last drawing-- so I thought I'd try again. 8D (NO I HAVE NOT ACTUALLY STARTED MY PAPER BECAUSE OF THIS, KILL ME NOW.)

I'm quite torn on giving you concrit because I do want to see more art from you but you have your papers... XD
02:51? Make sure you work on your papers and study first, though. It's so ACE (I'm so proud!) to see you working, though you should still squeeze sleep into that schedule... ;;; /HUGSSSSSSSSSS
Get well soon ;~; AND GOOD LUUUUUCK. ♥

For one, I quite like your sketchy lines and the sharp features -- it presents a powerful image somewhat, which is pretty much the message you'd want to convey with such an expression. There is also more contrast in here as compared to the previous picture -- darker shades! -- and that's AWESOME. Anatomy is better on this one as compared to the previous one, too, so double-yay! 8D
Going into the flaws now, though. The rough shading and sudden contrast looks rather unnatural XD";; Maybe it's because of the strong highlights for the skin, but not so much on his clothes...or his hair, I guess. You might want to shade the part of skin that falls beneath the frames a little. The folds that I see here are also not as good as the one that I see in the first Norway picture you gave me... XD
...that's about it for now. 8D
I think I'm free tomorrow, I'll totally try to work on that reward thing! 8D

I actually really like that strong shading style - my only problem is (and always has been) the distance between the tip of the nose and the bridge. It's a stylistic thing, I know, but that's the only thing that gets in the way of this being SUPERSUPERAWESOMEOMFG. I think we do have similar tastes though - you chose all the colours and shading I would have...
I love love love the skin. And the eyes. And the everything.
So yeah, I'll have to disagree with you here: To me, your colourings are AWESOME, but your lineart is a little "...?" sometimes. I think you're right about the reference thing, but when you're drawing in anime style, references only help so far.
I LOVE YOU PLEASE DON'T BE MAD AT ME FOR CRITIQUING O__O
