Where did the beautiful weather go?!? It's a chilly 30 degrees here in Michigan, down from a wonderful 70 degrees on Tuesday. This is not how I intended to spend my spring break, freezing my behind off

I love Ansel Adams. You're right, he is overly commercialized, but so is Andy Warhol, so I've learned to deal. :)
I've never seen that picture of O'Keeffe. Thanks for sharing it!
BTW, good look with your decision. I know it's tough. Try not to stress about it -- everything happens for a reason. :) You might find that you love Indiana and can't imagine not going there.

Ooh, awesome!!! Thanks for sharing those pics. The first 3 I had not seen before. The last one I saw at the Chapin Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC, of all places. They had a really awesome (but small) Adams exhibit a couple years ago.
It is really neat when you find out hte backstory behind something so in-the-moment, like a photograph. That's why I really love the show on PBS, Art:21. They interview artists and even follow them around while they're working, and it's amazing to see what goes on. My favorite was an episode with another photographer, Sally Mann. They actually interviewed her children, who were models in some of her most famous photos (all grown up, now) about making those dreamy photos. It was so cool to get a glimpse into her life and work.
