Thanks--and very well said! It's always bothered me how people got so angry with Sam--and not that he doesn't deserve a fair share of blame for what happened, but I hate to think about what it must have been like to be him in that ep (okay, I'm a Sam girl, I admit my bias!). But I'm glad you liked it :)

ps. I just stumbled onto this story not long ago and it blew me away. I love the Biblical themes that run through SPN and this story was so powerful. I love the theme of brothers and to use Jacob and Esau was brilliant. Sam's deep resentment was terrifying in it's intensity, even more than his condescension in the actual episode.
