Summary: Connor really wants a gun.

“Can I have a gun?” Connor asked.
Stephen glanced around the doorframe at the approaching creature. “No.”
“But I can use one!” Connor protested.
Stephen looked sceptical. “Fine.”
Connor brightened. “Really?”
Outside, the creature growled.
“Sure,” Stephen said. “If you can make it to the armoury, take your pick.”
Connor frowned. “But the creature’s in the way!”
“So it is,” Stephen smirked. “Now if you don’t mind-“
Then, Stephen ducked out, firing. When he was done, Connor eked out, skirting the dead dinosaur.
“Where are you going?” Stephen asked.
Connor grinned. “The armoury! Now I can get my gun!”
