It was a very blustery day yesterday (Sunday), very much so. Power went out in many areas of the city, some streetlights were out1 even in areas that otherwise had power, and on my way to where I was going, the bus had to take a detour because a tree the size of a small house fell onto 39th, blocking traffic.
