Amusing story

Just to refresh your memory, I work at the buffet/cafe part of a casino in southwestern Iowa. Iowa's laws being as they are, the casino itself has to be a riverboat and has to be on a body of water. Looking at the admittedly large lake it's on, I wonder whether the casino or the lake came first ( Read more... )

I don't actually work on a riverboat. I work on the land-based part. All they have on the riverboat is the casino floor with the tables and slots and the Player's Club and the Cashier's Cage. But despite all the smoke and the crowds and the loud noises (all things I cannot stand), I go down there every chance I get, which is what's great about being a cashier... the profit drops and the nightly return of the cage's initial giving-out-change money requires me to go onto the boat. Also, making change runs... I volunteer for those. Whenever we need more change, I go get it. I guess I just like the difference. But I don't think I could stand working there all the time... unless I got to be a cocktail server. I look at those hot little outfits they wear (leaves them fully clothed, though), those bustiers they wear, and I dream of being a cocktail server. But, alas, it'd be my luck that the outfit for male cocktail servers would be different... without a bustier.
