Earlier today, I was complaining to myself about people being "in the way," of course meaning they were being obstacles. The part of myself that is Ah'Koi Bahnis but is not as acclimated as Fayanora is to Earth expressions gave me this "WTF?" feeling when I said that. LJ's search was never that efficient to begin with. I use a program called LJ Archive which, as the name implies, archives your LJ. It also has a search function, and allows you to do things like view all comments, and arrange them by user. Which is really convenient if, for example, you want to see when a person first commented on your journal :-)
