Yes! Welcome to Night Vale is a hilarious podcast taking the form of community radio for the desert town of Night Vale, a town in which all kinds of bizarre things happen. The city council is made up of some kind of Lovecraftian critters, the town's religion involves "blood stones," the sheriff's secret police rule with an iron fist, there are weird lights in the sky over the Arby's, a menacing and evil Glow Cloud is on the city council, reading is forbidden, and the librarians at the public library are nightmarish creatures. But yeah, it's comedy, and it's hilarious.
The show is also very diverse; the female characters are well done, one of the angels is black, and the town "racist embarrassment" is a white man who wears a cartoonish headdress and calls himself The Apache Tracker. Oh, and the scientist Carlos is a queer man of color.
Oh, and Night Vale is better than its nearby "sister" city of Desert Bluffs.
